Stellar hike on Mount Phelps today. Probably is one of my favorite mountains. Great views and great weather. We got an early start and beat the cloud cover.
I wouldn't trade one New England fall for all the tropical island light in the world.

The summer is grinding to a halt. You can feel it more and more each day. I tend to do things with more urgency this time of year. The feeling that the warmth, light, and color are drawing to a close. Soon, trees will be line drawings and the color palette of the landscape will be shades of gray. I absolutely love this time of year but I hate to see the summer go.
