ADK Highwire

[Above] Here is a short video* clip from our trip to Adirondack Extreme yesterday. We managed to complete all 5 courses, but I have to admit that the end of Course 5 was one of the hardest physical efforts I have endured in a long time. I would rather run 13 miles over hanging 70 feet above the forest floor with arm muscles well past their aerobic threshold. I don't climb as much as I used to, so, 4.5 hours on the ropes course was a workout. It was a fun day and I'm stoked to able to celebrate my birthday doing something outside.

JBulmer Photography Featured by A Night in Bloom

In the beginning of June, I had the honor of shooting Sara and Chris' wedding in Rhinebeck, New York. It was obvious they took great care in the aesthetic component of their day. From the antique vases and handkerchiefs to the location of their ceremony and reception, Sara and Chris consistently made timeless choices for the look of their wedding. As a photographer, I love to work with couples like Sara and Chris. Obviously, a huge part of any wedding day is the flowers. They chose Heather Forrest-Lundy's A Night in Bloom Event Floristry in Kingston, New York. She did an amazing job right down to the smallest detail and I am pleased she has featured some of my images on her website.
