I've been working on a wearable boom and harness for #GoPro. Today was the second day out, and while it floats on rocky singletrack [above], it excels when the bike is in the air [lower]. All the motion lines smooth out leaving the subject crisp. New England in autumn is like riding between the brush strokes of an oil painting.

[Above] I wanted a decent mount for my GoPros and didn't want to spent $100 for a stick with a leash. I built this today from
plastic and silicone with stainless steel hardware and a 550 Paracord
leash. Looking forward to some ocean time this summer to get this thing wet.
I have been using GoPro cameras since 2004.
It's awesome to see how far they have come since their original wrist mounted model. I still have 5 of these original Heroes in the
original packaging. I have shot with GoPros under all sorts of conditions. There aren't many days I don't have one in my camera bag.
[Above] Working on new helmet camera options for the 2011 riding and climbing seasons. Working on new mounts for the VIO POV as well. Check out www.bombproofdesigns.com for more info.
Looking forward to getting the GoPros into harm's way this summer. It's only January 3rd and I miss my bikes. Video at www.r7studios.com.
[Above] Here is a short video* clip from our trip to Adirondack Extreme yesterday. We managed to complete all 5 courses, but I have to admit that the end of Course 5 was one of the hardest physical efforts I have endured in a long time. I would rather run 13 miles over hanging 70 feet above the forest floor with arm muscles well past their aerobic threshold. I don't climb as much as I used to, so, 4.5 hours on the ropes course was a workout. It was a fun day and I'm stoked to able to celebrate my birthday doing something outside.
