Lake Placid Barn HDR

Everyone who drives into Lake Placid from the Northway passes this barn. I would bet 1 out of every 4 people take a photo. This is an overcooked black and white HDR. I overcooked it to show the texture in the sky and the sun burning through the clouds. This is an 8 image composite of images dark to light to achieve the tonal range.

Great to get out in the fresh snow yesterday. There are have been precious few opportunities to shoot powder this season. As I type this, it's 40º outside with a steady rain. Today is forecast to be in the 50s. The scene above will be gone by day's end. The clocks change soon and I am looking forward to longer nights.
