Racing the Rain : 10.15.2012

Every New England Autumn has a few days like today, warm and windy. I try to take full advantage of each one of these days every season. I played hookey today to ride my favorite network of trails. The wind was strong enough to bring down the late season leaves like snowflakes.

I love quite sports done in the outdoors.

Forgotten Walls

Anyone who has ever walked in the woods in the Northeast will recognize these rocks. There are hundreds of miles of stone walls running through the woodlands of New York and New England. It is easy to imagine the hard labor required to build these lasting monuments.
