Got a chance to get out this morning after the season's first snowfall. While I hate to see the summer's colors fade, the muted color pallet of the winter months definitely has its own unique appeal. I love New England and mornings like today's are the reason why. Grabbed this iPhone HDR as I was shooting with my DSLR. More at www.myphoneismycamera.com
[Above] Moving Sky: I have long been fascinated by time lapse images of the changing sky. I started shooting these last week. This was my first attempt and have since refined the process. Look for more in the coming weeks.
I didn't take these photos. A friend, a local musician (and damned good one), saw this scene at a garage sale and asked the woman selling the chairs to take a few photos of him playing his guitar. Sometimes found scenes have way more validity than something planned, lit, and staged. And while I didn't create the images, I applied the sepia tone and weathered effects to add more authenticity to the finished product. All effects were applied with iOS iPad apps.
