Swell : 08.29.2013

I found this on the wrist-mounted GoPro I was wearing during last week's shark dive. I took this image while sitting in the open stern door waiting to drop into the cage. You can see the swell at image left. Seas were building all day with occasional rollers with troughs so deep, there was no horizon.

Moving Shadows : 08.29.2013

Today was a hard day and I was sea sick for most of it. The water off of Chatham is cold and spooky, and if you look close enough, you see moving shadows. Our chartered boat was around the 20 foot range. As seas built to 10 foot swells, the trough seemed like being in a hole in the water.
