Project Magic Lantern

I have always been fascinated by repurposing old optics and marrying them with new technology. I recently acquired 2 early 1900s magic lanterns and engineered a way to put a Nikon D90 body in each of them, turning them into a unique photography platform. These are the first images I captured through their 120-year-old glass. They are images of some of the oldest architecture in Albany, New York.
