Photographers are a lot like bartenders. Once you break the ice, people want to tell you their stories. Approaching total strangers and asking for a portrait is one of the hardest things in photography and it's definitely a perishable skill. I was drawn to this woman's bright colors and she was more than happy to sit for a portrait.
